GTA London: 1969

GTA London: 1969 is the first commercial mission pack to be released for GTA. It's developed by Rockstar Games, they may not be British but I think they got it right.

According to the back of the box..

London 1969- You are a stylish hooligan entering a new decade of grievous bodily harm, car-jacking, and general thuggery. Drive, Run, and Shoot your way into all sorts of trouble with the law, rival gangs, and civilians.

(It also says it in Spanish but I won't bother …oh and a tad excessive on the punctuation methinks..but anywho)

So there you have it. It costs £10, so go read my review before deciding whether or not to buy. Personally I love it and think it's well worth the cash.

GTA London: 1961 is the freely distributed add on for GTA London 1969. I'm not sure if it was originally planned, or if it was made due to the civil unrest about the lack of longevity of the first pack. Either way it's stonking!

Set in London again, you deal with the bosses 8 years younger. The pack contains 22 new cars and a new cutscene, as well as new missions.

As well as the London map there is also a deathmatch map based on Manchester. Having driven around this for a while I can say that, again, the map is made extremely well.

So stop reading this, go get the 7Mb download from the GTA London website and get playing!
